SCULPTURE  
Grades 9‑12         Credits   1      Pre‑Req:  2d Art or Drawing I                 1 term

Sculpture is a course studying 3-Dimensional art forms and involves the study of modern sculptors and a variety of sculptural methods.  Students will produce portfolio quality work using additive and subtractive methods and a variety of materials including paper, cardboard, wood, metal, stone, plaster, and other 3D materials.   Concepts will be taught through the study of art history, criticism, aesthetics, and production techniques.
