This class will begin with the construction of pinhole cameras, and creating photograms to familiarize students with basic photography and darkroom procedures.  Students will learn 35 mm camera techniques, film processing, and printing from negatives through enlarging.  Students will focus on certain compositional elements and design principles for each unit.   Concepts will be taught through the study of art history, criticism, aesthetics, and production techniques.
