VISUAL COMMUNICATION II (GRAPHIC DESIGN)                                 
Grades 10‑11 and 12 for those seniors who have taken  Studio Art   Credits‑1       Pre‑Req:  Basic Art 2D or Drawing          1term
This course emphasizes the roll of visual communication in the marketplace.  The students will create advanced illustration, fashion design, logo design, storyboarding, typography, and other commercial art practices.  Projects will be completed using some traditional drawing techniques, but will focus primarily on computer software programs.  Concepts will be taught through the study of art history, criticism, aesthetics, and production techniques.
