How to use a Sketchbook:
1. Take it with you everywhere.
2. Use it daily.
3. Only draw on one side of the page. Sometime pages are removed for exhibition. Some mediums will bleed through the page.
4. Don't tear out pages or scribble out your drawings.  
5. Possible uses for the pages.
-Life drawing
-Thumbnails & compositional sketches.
-Brainstorm sessions. Push your imagination
-Explorations: figure, architecture, nature, still life.
6. Write notes from art journals and books that relate to your studio process.
7. Insert materials into the sketch book that feed your work.( I.e, a magazine ad that uses a color scheme that you find compelling).
